*Rant Alert* The traffic of Delhi-Gurgaon is a great teacher. It teaches you so many things in such a short span of time that at the end of your journey from Home to Office you are a lot more humbled. It teaches you to be thankful, it teaches you the importance of short memory and many other things. When you start from home at 7:15 in the morning, the pleasant weather and light rain gives you the great energy you would need to start your day on a happy note. And, then suddenly you find a malfunctioning Traffic Signal which is turning green for just 30 sec resulting in 15 min stoppages where it should ideally be just 2 to 3 minutes. You realize, it’s never wise to count your chickens before they hatch. A little further down the way, there is a caring father who stops his car on the right most side of the road – next to the road partition. He leisurely stops the car, waits for his son to get out with his bag and water bottle and go to school on the other side of the road –

Yes, it has been 10 years since I wrote my first blog post. 107 Posts! Some long, some very long, some short and some very short. Some idiotic, some intellectual, some fun, and some serious. I was 20 then, and 30 now. I was in college then, and working now. I was a bachelor then, and married now. I was carefree then, and a little responsible now. Life was fun then, and its still fun. Us then: Us Now: It’s been nice writing here, and I wish I could write here more often. I wish I was not this lazy.

Hi, I am the friendly elevator at your workplace you use to reach your office in that 15 floor building. You use me daily, many times a day. I help you when you are tired I help you when you are in a hurry I help you when you do not feel like taking the stairs I help you when you are sick I help the needy Did you ever give a thought to the troubles I face daily? Ever wondered, if I need anything, if there is anything which is troubling me? I daily see people not paying any regard to me People steal away the buttons People make me dirty I have even seen people spitting inside me People throw all kinds of garbage inside me When I was installed, in this big 15 floor building with all these shiny floors – I was very happy. This building has many offices of some of the biggest multinationals of the world having some of the brightest minds of the country. There would be no kids around, only grown ups - Or so I thought!!! People would tr

Our trip was now coming to an end. Months of planning and re-planning, and this was it, the final day of the trip. Tomorrow we leave back for Delhi. But, before that - we still had one day left. The plan for today was to relax, roam around in the local market, get some souvenirs and Pashminas for the ladies back home :) The day began leisurely with some delicious Masala Cheese Omelette and hot tea! Arun and Bhavna decided not to have the breakfast at the guest house. So, we wandered out and started searching for some good breakfast options. After, a little search we zeroed in on a restaurant and got over with the breakfast quickly. Up ahead was shopping! Probably the toughest job a guy can be asked to do. And, if you are in the market for ladies stuff, be prepared to get totally confused. We thankfully had two ladies with us, who helped us select the Pashmina shawl and in the end we zeroed in on a shop from where we together bought around 10 Pashmina Shawls and Stoles. :D Surpri

Today, we leave back for Leh. The plan was to stop at Diskit along the way and then at Khardung La. Everyone woke up on time, after a much needed sleep after the tiring journey yesterday. The weather was fantastic, clear blue skies and nice breeze blowing. Time for the cameras to come out :p The moon at 7:30 AM- And, that's the Sun at 7:30 AM - And, some amateur photography as well :p We dressed up and got ready for the breakfast. The Breakfast was again served in an authentic setting - Hot tea with Ladakhi Bread and Butter-Jam. After the delicious breakfast, we were asked by the Owner's son AB Dar, our host to fill up a Testimonial book. And, we had only nice words to write. He also asked us to write down our Names and Phone numbers - his explanation sometimes enquiries are done by the authorities, and they have to show them who all came and stayed there, and we obliged. Before leaving - a Pic with AB! And, with a wonderful stay here coming to an
